Lyme disease is a common bacterial infection that spreads to humans by infected ticks. Acute Lime disease is treated with antibiotics, unfortunately, some people continue to suffer from symptoms even after receiving the treatment.

What is Lyme Disease?

Chronic Lyme disease symptoms are difficult to treat, with many patients getting little relief. Untreated, Lyme disease can lead to many symptoms, including joint pain, severe fatigue, cognitive changes such as: memory problems, brain fog, concentration problems, facial paralysis, and chronic pain, additional symptoms include: mood changes, anxiety, sleep disturbances and heart conditions.

Recent research has found that hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT) can treat chronic symptoms of Lyme disease and may prove especially effective for patients who are resistant to other treatments.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Lyme Disease

Clinical studies found that HBOT can improve the symptoms of Lyme disease and enhance overall wellbeing and quality of life. HBOT involves breathing 100% pure oxygen in a special room known as a HBOT suite. This, combined with the elevated pressure in the suite increases the amount of oxygen in the blood several fold, which helps damaged tissue regenerate and heal faster.

In-depth medical assessment

A comprehensive three-day medical, physiological, and mental assessment including the most advanced brain imaging tests tailored to your needs, such as SPECT imaging. The tests are conducted by Brain & Performance Centre certified medical staff including physicians, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, physiologists and nurses.

A unique treatment including HBOT protocol

You’ll have HBOT sessions five days a week for 12 weeks – 60 consecutive two-hour sessions in total.

Alongside your HBOT sessions, our medical team will coach you through a personalized brain training and physical training regime, designed to maximize the effects of the oxygen treatments and treat your Lyme symptoms.
