Has Long Covid impacted your brain health?

Long Covid can have a long-term impact on the optimal functioning of your brain and cognitive capabilities. This can lead to persistent fatigue, headaches, muscle pain, sleep difficulties and ‘brain fog’ among other symptoms. This can affect how you perform your day-to-day activities and overall quality of life.

The Brain & Performance Centre offers a comprehensive Long Covid Assessment that provides you with a complete evaluation of your current health status. After the full assessment, our medical team will provide you with treatment options.

Brain and cognitive decline, as well as physical changes associated with Long Covid, can be reversed using our unique medical protocol, which places HBOT at its core.

A randomized controlled trial published in Nature scientific reports in 2022 (Hyperbaric oxygen therapy improves neurocognitive functions and symptoms of post‑COVID condition: randomized controlled trial), has shown that cognitive aspects of long covid syndrome can be reversed. A follow up assessment performed on the same cohort of patients after one year, published in the same journal (Long term outcomes of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in post covid condition: longitudinal follow‑up of a randomized controlled trial), showed that the improvements after HBOT were long lasting. An additional paper published in 2023 (The effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on myocardial function in post‑COVID‑19 syndrome patients: a randomized controlled trial), shows improved heart function in patients who completed the HBOT program.
